And then Mycroft, all nonchalantly sending everyone text messages that 'hey. by the way. they aren't dead. good day.'

YES! That line's my pride and joy. Trust Mycroft to understand the logistics of a situation before its emotional consequences start to occur to him, and even then to completely downplay those consequences.

I know, right? Haha! I can just picture Lestrade standing in the thick of things at Scotland Yard, staring down at his phone with a look of utter bewilderment. He is not sure how to deal. IT'S NOT HIS DIVISION TO DEAL WITH THE SUDDENLY UNDEAD. What a stressful day, whew.

Mycroft has a flair for the dramatic, and his tendency to be constantly irritated makes this funnier than he'd probably like to know about himself.
