TDWG reunion happened this weekend. Quite a few of you, perhaps even the majority, will have no idea what I'm talking about. It's sad when someone starts something really wonderful but it doesn't manage to get passed on to the next generation, so to say, when they are forced to step down. I think it's a result of our disposable society, where communities are no longer supportive, and we don't have the villages it takes to raise children. A tradition passed from one person to another becomes a rarer and rarer thing, and precious.
