Thank you SO much for typing that up for me. Looks like waiting a few months wasn't a bad idea, eh?

Cassandra won't receive any HepB vaccination until she's in grade 7 (Canada).

I'm sticking this in my memories, it's really useful, thanks again! :)

I think that the longer they're delayed, it has the higher potential of being more beneficial to the child. Interactions with the immature immune system and such, being what it is. Cave goes into that a little in her book, I'll have to find it and post what it was she said.

Its so silly, they push the HepB down here from birth on. When we were still in the hospital after I had Logan, one of the pediatricians came into our room and told me that he was healthy and that she really recommended the HepB. And she said this something like 6 times while she was in the room for all of 4 minutes! I wanted to punch her. haha.

At least Canada makes more sense with that one than the US of A does...but thats not a hard thing for any other country on this planet to do. :-P

I'm going to type up information for the various different illnesses and vaccinations over the next couple of days from that book and a book by Aviva Jill Romm.

You are very welcome! If you want me to, I can type up & post the info on the different Vax's & the specific illnesses from the few books I have on the subject. (I can't promise quickly, but I can get it done over the next week or two!)

Let me know! :)

I directed someone in the delaying_vax community to this entry as well. I hope you don't mind. She has a child who will be starting daycare at the ehnd of this month.
