Your story and photos have been so beautiful to read that you made my period an entire week late! I blame the cuteness of Lilly & Logan together. That's what did it!

OMG you have two kids.

OMG you have two kids.

Oh god, tell me about it. Logan has been epic in his whining. Learning & adjustment curve - when can we be over it?!

Also, I am unbearably nervous about when Truman goes back to work next week. Unbearably. I might just commit myself to the crazy house.

Wow, Heather... I just can't get over how happy I am for you!!! [And so much of this was eerily similar to ElJ's labor/birth, it was strange to read!]

Really? I guess in a lot of ways, when you get down to the basic mechanics of birthing - they're not that different, you know? :)

I'd have to say the wildest part was going from 7 or 8 cm to complete & pushing and done in about an hour - hour and a half. And by wild I mean - holy shit that was INTENSE. All through the pregnancy I was telling myself that its likely that part was going to take the longest, because I hadn't reached that far before, so I was going to be like a first time mom. So I *really* didn't expect it to go so, so fast.

My mom later tells me that this is exactly what happened when she was birthing ME - and I'm her first as well. She just had a longer pushing phase (she believes) because I was posterior and not being very cooperative with descending gracefully. heh.

Hey - are you thinking about going to the natural birth/baby expo that is the weekend after Colby's party?
