I have an issue that I've wanted to work out for years now. I've never been in enough challenging, on the spot type situations, so when something happens I tend to freeze up. My new fighting game, Tekken 6, has the perfect example. When I'm playing against people I know, I keep my cool and flow real well and they usually don't stand a chance. ( Read more... )

I think it's about building your self-confidence. And playing those games would be a good place to start. You can't get hurt. You probably put a lot of pressure on yourself to do well. The thing is, in cases like that, it doesn't matter. Not really. You're not going to get hurt or anything. So, play the game and don't stress about how well you do it. Just play. And yes, more challenges will help you build your self confidence.
As far as I go, I don't care what people think of me. I do my best and however that turns out, I'm ok as long as I know I do my best. Screw other people's opinions. They don't matter. This makes me come across as self-confident. But I do know I am good at most things I do. That's just the way I am. And so are you!
