With the new year almost upon us I find myself thinking over the past year. It was a year full of conflicting emotions - from despair when my father passed away to absolute elation at getting my dream job. I'm ever so grateful that my children are healthy both physically and mentally - and that my husband dmedicus is finally on the mend :D

Such a Sad State of Affairs
You know it is really, really sad when someone has to live their life vicariously through other people's lives. Happy Anniversary
Dec 7, 2010 is my 19th wedding anniversary. I met my husband dmedicus at the local Non-commissioned Officers club through mutual friends. I was hiding out from my abusive but soon to be ex husband by staying with female airman friends who had dorm rooms on base - he was a security policeman living in the dorms.
