The pact back in those caves worked. Marta's safe. And I think Richter is, too. I found him injured back there, but I found help for him and I don't remember what happened after that. I was able to find Marta, though, and we got out of there. She was looking for something, but I didn't really understand what was going on. I wonder what it was.

It's usually a safe bet to assume that whatever terrible thing you think may have happened ended up being averted. Of course, if you actually remember the terrible thing itself, that's a bit different.

I never did see him in the caves again after I left him...he was with a friend, though, so I think he made it out okay.
