I've recently begun re-exploring YYH ficcage after a long hiatus and things like this story make me glad. Aside from being a shameless Hiei /Kurama fangirl, it's great to find something that captures the voice of the characters, especially in a short piece of work that doesn't allow for a lot of exploration. Forgive my rambling on that count! I love that Kurama was almost a little too full of his own drama- loved how Hiei put him straight with such a simple action. I wish I could better express my appreciation of this. Thanks for posting it!

Thanks so much! I was really rather nervous about that. I wasn't sure that anyone would go for that vision of Kurama. I've always liked the idea that he sometimes gets far too caught up in himself, and that practical, straightforward Hiei would waste no time correcting him in the simplest way possible.
