...but I miss the character development and story of Countdown o_o I picked up the Flash Annual today because I'm a masochist...
STILL no Trickster. And no, I don't count Axel because he is NOT Trickster. He reminds me of those teenagers I see running around on DCUO dressed as Superman and named "Xsup3rmanX. They spend all their time acting like dumba$$es, insulting people, and generally give a bad name to a great icon. I'd like to believe that the kid (Axel) looks up to James, but no one is bothering to flesh out his character beyond "punk kid" -_-
Also, when did Hartley become a useless damsel in distress? Is this the same man that took down Apokolips and is a conduit for the Anti-Life Equation? The same young stud who summoned the almighty Blatt? Who fought alongside Wally and actually held his own? And he was taken down by, what, being thrown into a car by the Italian supermodel known as Weather Wizard? At least his boyfriend redeemed himself...sort of. And I guess Piper's been taken down using more ridiculous means...avalanches and ostriches come to mind...
And is it wrong that when I read the panel where Heatwave caught on fire, all I could think of was him lamenting loosing his beautiful hair? WHEN DID MICK HAVE HAIR?! What did I miss??? And WHY is a guy that regularly sets himself on fire NOT covering his head (and hair)? That is one major design fail...
Sam and Lisa? SAM and Lisa?! Where the hell is Roscoe?!
And where is the Rainbow Raider?! *grumbles* Roy gets no love.
