Tell me about it! We tried starting a YJ fancomic years ago, but we both suck at comic writing. He actually went to school to be a comic book artist and earned a graphic arts degree, but he gave it up because everyone and their mother was competing for the same job. Honestly, I think he has more talent than a lot of artists out there, but he's so caught up in real life that he gave up art for a while. I'm glad he's getting back into it (and has you guys to encourage him) ^^

because every timeI reply to someone's art saying "that's great, you should work in comic books"...they are in the industry., and then I feel awkward.

You guys are going to give him an ego. *lol* I asked him why he gave up trying to get into comics. He told me the story about how he spent weeks creating portfolios to send to all the major comic book companies in his early 20s. Just when he was going to send them out, they all disappeared. He was so devastated that he gave up. But don't feel too bad for him; he says he's happy where he is in life (fixing instrument cases and learning to repair instruments) and no longer wants to work for the big companies. He doesn't like the pressure.

There's always tons of random ideas on the prompt-a-thon in the Pipster community and I'm sure some authors won't mind fleshing out ideas that you like.

Oh, wow! These are all great, great pictures :o) I especially love Roscoe and Lisa, and Grodd's expression is just magnificent! Great talent :o)

I'm still getting a kick out of my Piper icon ^^ I could use some funny Piper and/or Trickster icons, but as I don't have a paid account, I don't have much room :) Btw, I checked out your journal info to see if I could browse your icons and noticed you linked to Go Rogues on Tumblr. I love that site! Unfortunately, I don't have a Tumblr (and can't figure out how to use it).

These are all amazing but I especially love the Kadabra one because I'm a big fan of his and I don't see him in fan art that much. But I also love the rainbow behind Roy and Trickster's expression and the fire effects around Mick.

I think the Abra one is my favorite because of his expression. All of them but Grodd are using their abilities. I didn't notice Evan was in a mirror until Dave pointed it out to me ^^ Thanks for the comments!
