But I do agree, however, that it was maybe a little bit too fluffy. I'm sure Sasuke had love for his brother - but now, not anymore. Some of the songs are definitely OoC, but there is also that sadness and loneliness, which is how Sasuke and Itachi are right now. Maybe you should find songs with that kind of feeling but without most of the fluff? I mean, I'm no expert at Itachi and Sasuke (er - more of a fan of Naruto and Sasuke :3), but I know that their relationship isn't exactly rays of sunshine. I think it's fine to include a little fluff, but - where they're at right now - it's really hard to imagine Sasuke/Itachi thinking or saying anything in the lyrics.
This fanmix, somehow, looks at the optimistic side of their relationship, when the majority is angst, blood, and tears. Perhaps not a die-hard Naruto fan's cup of tea. :) You did a great effort with the covers, though. Good luck with your future fanmixes! - TT.
Well actually, those songs are not very happy at all. I mean, the 3rd and 10th one were kinda a stretch, but the rest are as depressing as I can get.
But really, now that I think about it, it really wasn't supposed to be happy at all. It was just founded on the basic principle that Itachi's motives were "The Uchiha clan is evil/pathetic/whatever (except for Sasuke), so I need to kill them all / I'm going to force Sasuke to make most of his potential, no matter what." (Which Kishi so violently destroyed...) So I tried to think of all of the songs that would fit that theme. Unfortunately, I'm not able to remember the entire contents of the songs themselves, so when a song had one line I liked, I pretty much ran with the whole song (see case #10). But really, I do have a non-fluffy reason for all of these songs. I'm serious (well, except for number three...).
I do think I did a great job with Sasuke's songs, though. (6, 7, and 8)
