That's actually why I started writing it. Hiei and Kuwabara attempting to work together struck me as amusing.

Serious and gory as the action is, I sat here and laughed like a loon. Your Hiei-Kuwabara interaction is just the way I like it--sarcastic and contemptive, but still trying.

*grins* I actually only started this fic because I wanted to try writing the two of them as a team. I love the way they interact with each other. Too often their dynamic is written off as "they hate each other!" and I don't think they do. ^_^

The earlier parts of the story stuck with me enough for me to check back a few times. I'm ecstatic to see that you've updated, and the story just keeps getting better and better. I love Kuwabara's reaction to Hiei showing up and the way Hiei brushes off the whole psychich connection/presumed dead thing.
