I love many many parts of this. The part with Yomi and his interaction with Kurama, and his giving in with the garden. Kuronue's song, Kuwabara and Hiei's interaction, Yuusuke and Kuwabara's fighting technique. The CLIFFHANGER ENDING. I'm curious to know how Hiei managed to get caught. ^_^

We get to see what happens to Hiei in Counterplay - you've already read some of that. And he figures out a little bit of what happens in the missing time between Kurama's capture and reappearance.

Yuusuke spends a large chunk of the next chapter totally flipping his shit, just so you know. It's a lot of fun to write.

My favorite part is that Kuwabara is dressed up like Hiei. How did they talk him into that? And why?

Anyway--whee! Hiei! And Yuusuke in a craze. ^_^ That's always fun. We haven't heard from Yuusuke in a while. Is he bored, yet? ^_^

Well, he was bored. Until the bad guys brainwashed Kurama and Hiei into serving them, and then Kuwabara went and got himself killed.

Now he's mostly mad.

I love the way you write Kuwabara. I especially loved him trying to goad Kurama here. That amused me on so many levels... I really hope it doesn't take you another seven months. This is one of the very few action fics to keep me interested.

Wow. Big stupid happy grin on my face. Because I really like this fic. Heck. reikaiwriters--your stuff is the YYH worth reading these days, since I more or less gave up on searching FFN.

^_^ Thanks! I admit, FF.net tends to discourage me a lot, but I still poke around since there doesn't seem to really be any other large archive for YYH. *coughs* I have vented on fanficrants once or twice as a direct result. *coughs*

But, yup! Your comm. I was going to join, but I decided to have a fic to present when I did join, and then this story started and... it got long. *stares at fic out of the corner of eye* Very long.

Holy shit, I'm commenting!

Yeah, so, I was trying to wait until it was all finished so I could get it all in one swoop, but I was mistaken. I should have just waited for a chapter called "Checkmate," or something equally as morbidly final, yes?

I gotta say, it's kinda weird reading about characters I haven't encountered in about 3 years. I'm also learning a lot more about the plotline/character choices from this. I enjoy how you write. It's easy to read, yet thorough (from what I can tell) and illustrative. But I must say, it would be much more suspenseful if I didn't already KNOW your reputation of how you treat your characters. *w*

*laughs* I haven't titled the final chapter yet because I don't want to title it "Endgame" or "Checkmate". We'll see if I cave in.

What books did you get? And how are you liking the Temeraire books? Did you finish Throne of Jade?
