Trick or Treat- why I loathe it!

I loathe Trick or Treat for various reasons; I don't like being disturbed at home, if they aren't expected they aren't invited! When I'm home apart from friends and family I don't want anyone from outside. Period

Have you considered putting a sign up on your door saying "No trick or treaters"? Or pushing a copy of The Watchtower through the letterbox at them?

Last year there was a sign like that, but I guess Lambeth Council couldn't afford it. Yup, next year I'll either make my own sign, or go to the pub for a few hours and avoid the whole shower.
