I think that in every person, there is a little bit of darkness hiding somewhere. It manifests in different ways, but everyone has it, even the most innocent of people, even the most light filled heart has a shadow. Interesting theory, Private. Even with your romantic, 'cloak and dagger' terminology (darkness and shadows and so on), you make a very clear point. On this I can agree with you completely. In many ways, like this one, people are alike, but it is in how they deal with it where you can see the differences. I can't wait for you to get back, man. You and I, pretending to be philosophers... That's some fun stuff.

Hey, it's Steph. I'm glad things are going well for you and that you've adjusted to life in the Army. You and I should hang out when you come to visit in December. I've had a lot of time to think about stuff and I realized that I made a shitload of mistakes when it came to our friendship and I want to see if there's any possibility of us becoming somewhat friends again.
