Kenpachi gets more detention (Scene 4/2)

Scene 4, unlocked doors and a black abyss
Kenpachi handed Devyd his phone and walked to the door to unlock it with the key that had been in his pocket next to the phone. Devyd answered, mildly confused about how he had reception in the interior room, until he remembered that it was connected to the outside via the two-way mirror used during scored lessons. He looked at the mirror, tired and worn from even a short duel of that quality. Vaguely through the mirror he could see the aura outlines of a couple of his students, who must have been more than a little intrigued to see how their master fought others. "Hello, this is Devyd, who needs me where?"
On the other end of the phone, he heard his secretary chuckle to herself. She must have thought he couldn't hear her because she continued in a completly businesslike tone. "Sir, a miss Lucrezia Cravitz is here to see you, says she's an old friend. She's sitting in your office going through your old notes right now...do you want me to stop her or would you like to do it personally?" Devyd sighed and ruffled his hair with his free hand, still looking at the mirror and the stock still auras of the students trying to go unnoticed on the other side. Too bad they didn't know that a still wind was still a wind, and that he could feel its lack on his skin.
"That's alright, Jenny. I'll take care of it. I have a feeling I might actually know this Lucrezia woman if she's acting like you say she is. She'd be bored if she wasn't looking through something so just go ahead and let her keep going through the notes. I'll have a word with her about getting a gameboy or something when I talk to her..."
Ken rolled his eyes and walked out the now opened door, muttering something indescribable about adults and their stupidity. He stalked down the hall, rubbing his arm and cursing silently under his breath. The vile imprecations he spewed could almost have taken the paint off the walls, but this building was warded pretty heavily, so it was alright in Ken's careful observation. He was still a little hyped up from the battle and was out looking for more action when he ran into a small blond boy, eyes bright and cheerful, wearing a school jersey and jean shorts.
"Hi Ken, you missed class today." The boy chirped brightly, moving around Ken and smoothly gliding down the hall almost as if his feet weren't touching the ground. Ken muttered something about luck and fools and kept right on going. He knew there was someone he was supposed to see, but couldn't for the life of him remember who. Maybe one of his counselors or something...
