Pointless Semester Patterning

More to waste my free time than anything else...Just something I was thinking about.

I've come to the conclusion that semesters run in the same psychological pattern every time. I've known it for a while, I guess, but it always seems to surprise me when it comes to it; especially the spring semester. I'll explain it. There are 16 weeks to the semester; each with a general sentiment to it. Here's how they typically go for the spring...

Week 1
"Back at school...I hope my classes don't suck..."

Week 2
"Screw this class...*drop*"

Week 3
"Oh, right, I remember...This is what being in class is like."

Week 4
"What do you mean there's a paper/project/exam next week?!"

Week 5
"I hate writing papers/doing projects/studying."

Weeks 6, 7, & 8
"Is it Spring Break yet?"

Week 9
"I just got a taste of vacation over Spring Break...When are finals again?"

Week 10
"Now to do that project/paper I didn't do over Spring Break..."

Weeks 11 & 12
"I guess I should start paying attention at this point so I can pass the final."

Week 13
"What do you mean 'the final's cumulative'?! I just started listening 2 weeks ago!"

Week 14
"Do all of the profs get together and make everything due at once on purpose?"

Week 15
"I'd like to order a large pizza and a 2 liter bottle of Vault for delivery."

Week 16
"*pulls hair out*"

Agree? Disagree? Don't care? Me neither. Like I said, it wasted a few minutes of my time. So there.
