Alright so what's new? I think I'll write about what I said I would write about in the last real post from two weeks ago, I guess.
So...Friday's where I left off.
So for some reason, I was REALLY nervous all day on Friday. I didn't know what to expect fully...I'd never actually been on a date in which I went out to dinner with a guy, haha. Part of the reason I was so nervous was because I know that I'm shy and awkward and a lot of the time don't know what to say when I'm having a conversation with someone I don't really know all that well. Also, I feel really weird when other people pay for things for me...I know, I'm a freak, and probably one of the only girls who feels weird about that, but whatev. Anyway, Alex helped me pick out my outfit (because I'm a fail at putting together a cute outfit, ahah) and then he showed up, and then we left.
We ended up going to this place called Sprague's, which is this place in a nearby town that I'd only ever been to once during freshman year just to look at, pretty much. I have to commend him on his choice of location. It was decorated for Christmas and was really pretty. It ended up not being awkward, which was a huge relief to me. We talked a lot and ended up getting back to the TH around 9:30ish? Alex and Chris were there, so we hung out with them for a bit, then went to Applebees to get drinks, because Alex and I had to get each other the birthday drinks we owed. That was fun, because we just got to sit around and talk more. :) Then we came home and talked with Alex and Chris some more, then they went into Alex's room to watch the Hangover.
Scott and I ended up talking in the living room until around 4. He didn't end up leaving til around quarter of 6.
Thinking about it later, I felt kinda bad that he had to drive home at that time of....morning. Although even if I had told him he could've slept at the TH, I don't know if he would have.
He said some pretty adorable things, too, including telling me that he wasn't a fan of me going home for a month. He also told me to tell Ruthie that he was mad at her for keeping me a secret...which I had to laugh at because it was so dorky and adorable.
He asked when we were leaving on Sunday, to maybe see if we could get together one more time before I left, but to no avail. Anyway, I had a good time, and I really like him, which is probably sounding redundant at this point.
Another good thing? We've been talking (through text) almost every day since I've been on break. Which is a good thing, I think.
Umm in other news, Christmas was fun, I ended up getting a new laptop, which was good because my old one was getting pretty bad. I also recently got a new phone because I was due for an upgrade, so that was fun! Yay for cheap new phones! :) Not much else to talk about. Break is relaxing. :)
