Fallout!

I got Fallout 3 last night, and I'm about to start playing. I might not be seen or heard from in quite some time, but fear not! I am well.

Augh! I'm SO jealous! Did you get it for console or PC?

I'm sending my Dad to the Play N' Trade in Squamish tomorrow to see if he can get a PC version to ship with my winter clothes and DVD's.

Oh. And horror, my Dad asked me about WiiFit today. LOL

I got it for 360... my computer is sort of outdated, and the Xbox HDMI plays nice on my TV.

I warn you, the only reason why I'm not playing right now is because I couldn't ignore my hungry tummy any longer. It's a tad addictive.

Have fun!

That's what all the reviews are telling me. I'm a bit nervous for the first-person shooter view. I know it isn't a shooter, but you've seen me play Halo. Tragic.

Are the VATS easy for a unskilled gamer like me? Are the controls good with the 360? I'll be playing it on my PC, but I'm curious to hear how it goes with the controller!

Sorry for all the questions but Fallout 3 has definitely piqued my interest!

The game essentially plays like Oblivion, save bows have been replaced with guns and lasers, and swords and maces with knives, tools, sporting goods, and heavy machinery. The environments are incredible! Like Oblivion let you explore serene landscapes and villages, Fallout 3 lets you explore a true barren post-apocalyptic wasteland ( ... )

I guess I'm a bit out of the loop... I had to Google WiiFit just now, because I'd never heard of it. It looks fun!
