I had a friend who decided to write something in assembly of his own will. It was his senior project for high school.

Unfortunately, my teacher didn't understand why I begged him not to encourage such madness, and he managed to complete the project. He ... he actually said he liked it.

Me... I... I'll stick to C, thanks. Or Python, where I can get away with it...

The class is Computer Organization. It's about like... how the internal hardware and the like works. Registers, the circuits, flip-flops, multiplexers, etc. and since Assembly works so closely with all that (mainly the registers) we work with that for a "deeper understanding" of it all.

I do kinda like the circuit diagrams we've been making, though, using a program called Logisim :O

Hmm, you're learning all that in one quarter? We did that in two separate courses, although the second also had considerations for networking and operating systems rolled in.
