I don't really wanna hurt Amy. Y'know, my Amy. Cause yeah, okay, she makes me wanna run like hell sometimes but... she's still a good friend. And I care about her.

I dunno how serious things are gonna get between me and Shads but... I do know for a fact that I don't want Amy hearin' about it second hand. Cause I know it's gonna hurt her.
But how in the hell do I tell her, first? ;
I figured you'd be the one to ask... (which is a bit of a trip, lemme tell ya.) I haven't got a clue how to go about doin' it.
Points to you for not wanting her to find out secondhand. I had to look on LJ to find out my world's Sonic got together with Knuckles. I mean, I'm all right with boys kissing (you already had that figured out, right? *wink*), but still...
It's going to hurt any way you put it, though. Just be direct and tell her the truth. She'll still be hurt, and may not want to talk to you after that, but if she's willing to be your friend, she'll come around sooner or later.
Although, and I don't think it would happen, you might want to be ready to run just in case. But like I said, I don't think you'll have to do so.
Yeah, I mean, that's exactly the kind of thing I don't want happening to her. That just seems cruel, y'know?
I kinda figured it'd be best to just... tell her. But I wanted to make sure I shouldn't like... I dunno.. write her a letter or something instead. (Though I'm about as good at writing as I am staying still.)
And trust me, I'm gonna be ready to run. I've seen you.. er.. her?.... I've seen that hammer in action! I don't particularly want it and the back of my head getting to know one another, if you know what I mean.
*sigh* Thanks, Amy. I guess there's nothing for it but to just tighten the old laces and give it my best! <3
