Books worth reading

I just finished Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. Its a juvenile book, but its the first book that ever made me cry. I didn't cry this time through, but as a more seasoned reader I felt true empathy for Jess Aarons. Feeling the sadness to your core is harder to swallow than crying superficially about a death

you make a good point, i read the series so-far and i just cant wait for the next book and i cant wait to see how they butcher the next movie. I read the books that have already been made into movies and its SAD all the stuff they have to cut for time... so many things that made me go "huh?" in the movie made sense in the books. When the series ends you can bet ill have them all and ill gladly lend them to anyone seeking the joy that is Harry Potter.

Harry Potter - it was a good series, but I stopped reading them once I realized what a mania was created over them. the first four books were pretty good, but I think that's all I'll read of them.
wow, some pretty good books in that listing. Chronicles of Narnia. now that's a good series. I think I have them. *checks* Yeah I have them. You can borrow them if you like, they're short so it won't take you long to read them all.

Yeah, I read Lullaby. It was great.... the whole time I kept thinking about what a great movie it would make.

I also ready Choke. Its not as good, but still suprising. Palaniuk is probably the most cynical writer of our generation though.
