watching the Simpsons just now, the question dawns on me:

Why do we have Civil War re-enactments, but not re-enactments of other wars; like World War II or Korea?

I really like the theme on this episode where WWII vets are the greatest generation and cannot be thanked enough. heh heh heh, geezers, so senile

Because one one actually died on the battle field in the Civil War, they all got their limbs cut off and died of bad sanitation.
