I am procrastinator squaredFor me, writing letters is deadly. One, it's easily addicting. Heck, I've been writing letters back-and-forth to people for ages and I've got a shoebox full of old letters, reminding me of my innocence and stupidity and wretched phases of ethnic pride, what-have-you. It was kind of sad (and 'sad' as in 'pathetic'). I ( Read more... )

That gave me a good, hearty laugh.

I know you're a procrastinator; a bad habit that's been with you for ages. I totally relate to your second and third paragraph. Then I get to your fourth and my eyes bug out, thinking "WHAT?! She hasn't written me in AGES! What does that mean?"

Of course I realize shortly afterwards that you just finished writing to me, which means I am saved from the fallen-from-grace category of unworthy beings.

Good, hearty laugh indeed.

it's because you are loved and i wouldn't talk about this without having written to you. i mean, something good has had to come out of it.

i tell you, though. i wrote the entire day and my fingers on my right hand are numb. ooh, the things i do for people. just kidding. ♥

if you are unworthy, then i am unworthy. i'm afraid it automatically works that way.

:P

the entire day? not only do i feel incredibly loved, i'm dying to see this juicy letter.

hopefully it will arrive before i leave for nyc on sunday. if not, memphis will have my heart for a while longer with your letter as the connecting string.

actually, i'm very excited about my trip. i secretly fear the hairdressers in memphis, so the last time i had a haircut was a year ago. and while i'm too cowardly to chop all of it off, it certainly is time for a trim at least. then i'm making the rounds to all the bakeries/coffee shops that were on the recommendations lists on the foodblog websites. of course i'm counting on the major walking to burn off the gargantuan load of calorie-intake. gonna sneak a peek at nyuniversity and shop for some decent clothing, a no-go in the south.

i'll see what sets off the "ashie" bulb in my head and will get it for you. =) so be prepared for a nice little gift.

ack! nyc! awesome! ♥

i hope you have fun 'cos that place rocks! i went there in may as a graduation present. unfortunately, the day i went it was raining which was the shits.

oh monkey. food! i didn't get to try any good desserts, although we stopped in front of this french patisserie and i really, really wanted to go in because they had pastries and chocolate-dipped strawberries and i was DYING. i'd have committed a crime just to get something.

ooh ... speaking of nyu, what college are you attending? :D

i swear to god, you are too nice to me. i don't need any gifts, trust me! heck, i still have yours; it's just sitting here and either i forget or like ... procrastinate, which makes me forget. it's craptastic (my ability to send things on time, that is).

cocktail waiters. haha. i still haven't seen one. boo.

what i want to know is where he got it unless you just told him? he was like pulling the first degree or something and it was all like: stop asking meeeeee!
