The increasing number of "fake" quiz shows out there?

I mean the ones like Spicks and Specks, Good News Week and Talking About Your Generation that have all the set up of a quiz show but with celebrities instead of actual contestants so they don't have to give away prizes.

i watch every spicks and specks, love it, i also occasionally watch talkn bout your generation. these are meant to be comedy entertainment first rather than quiz shows. Einstein Facor is a hybrid of comedy stars and real contestants and is also a much watch show.

the thing is that if you have all real contestants you very seldom have any comedy.

oh I realise this, and I've been a big fan of Good News Week for years, I was just pointing out that this style of show seems to be a growing trend.

Not that I'm complaining

I miss the good ol' days of trying to beat the contestants on Sale of The Century and Jeopardy. And I really really miss Mastermind.
