Besides, he hasn't slept in days thanks to the nightmares, and needs some kind of an outlet. The demons are all too close to the surface... but that's entirely

[Terra herself isn't going to confront the beasts (unless they start it by attacking villagers), but makes good on her promise to monitor them. Thus, she's out and about in her Esper form, gliding around and seeing if there's any trouble.]

[As Terra is in Esper form, so Vincent is also transformed, into Galian Beast at the moment. He tears his claws into one of the beasties, its blood splattering against his fur.]

[...Then he catches a familiar sight... Terra. His thoughts instantly go to the time he attacked her. Because after all this time he still dwells and still fears something happening. He hopes she doesn't get too close.]

[Terra glides a bit closer, drawn by the noise, then pauses.]

Vincent....

[His voice is mostly a growl.]

Terra! Stay away!

[Fortunately he hasn't yet finished off the beast coming at him, so can keep the monster that he's become focused on something other than her.]

You're not going alone, Pops!

Selphie... it might be best if you keep a distance from me.
