I'm trying to reply to your comment but I just can't stop laughing at the Richard losing his hands thing. Seriously, when I first read it, I just busted out laughing, really loudly. Yes, you did say that. And I like you all the more for it.

Anywho, yeah Imma sucker for a happy ending, but by golly, I do love it when they suffer for it, ya know? Sometimes, I want the characters to go through hell first. I feel no shame. When it's too easy, it's just that. Easy. And that's boring sometimes.

Poor Cara for someone who isn't suppose to have feelings she seems to be the only one who acknowledges what she is actually feeling!! Of course then they get trampled on and she retreats back to her Mord'Sith ways :(

I'm so glad you've continued this great story .. am loving all the angst but ultimately hoping for a good ending - what can I say but I'm a sucker for these two - even if its a rough road getting there;P

I know right? Maybe it has to do with Cara being a no BS'er and she's just telling it like it is. Whereas Kahlan is confused. After all, never underestimate the power of denial. Especially when it's personal. Or... something like that. :)
