Hrmmm. I can't remember if I would have had anything to do with your reading Canavan... a search through my e-mail archives suggests otherwise. Must just be coincidence, because I've been reading her stuff lately (and very good it is too... I was initially thinking of it as "Harry Potter with some extra wrinkles", but if Harry Potter is a baby's bum, then this makes Yoda look like a baby's bum, if you see what I mean...)

It's just that I saw her books in the bookstore several times, and one day I bought the first volume. I didn't regret buying it.
