It's probably more amusing if you get on the rides. But then, you may want to start slow, given the cultural and technological divide. I'd suggest a carousel.

Rayne had to clutch her head at the screaming. This was one of those times when heightened natural senses could be a liability and her acute hearing forced the dhampir to cover her ears.

"God, could you make that any louder?!"

Recovering from her inmate's warning outburst of sound, Rayne winced with displeasure, shaking her head. "Well, you know my feelings on that... I still say you need to find something to focus on, outside of your brunette nemesis.

They were nearing the area Callisto had chosen and the haunted mansion was up ahead. "If we go in one of these things, try to remember it's just kids dressed up, OK?"
