In a suprising twist, Britney was not nominated for this years "Video Music Awards", this is the first time in her career that she has not been nominated for a VMA

As much as I love Britney, I have to say ... she doesn't deserve a VMA nomination this year *shrugs*

Someday was lame in my opinion. It was ok, but not VMA worthy.

I absolutely adore Do Somethin, but again, not VMA material.

I'm sure if you were 6 months pregnant, you would just LOVE to get up on stage and dance around like it's nothing. LoL! Also I think there is a certain time frame that a video has to be released in, in order to be eligible for a VMA award. In the last like 12 months how many videos has she put out? Like one? And it really didn't get much air time, because I sure didn't see it all that much. Britney has basically taken the next year or so off. Just leave her be. She's pregnant, and wants to have the baby, and not work for a little bit. Let her enjoy doing nothing. The only reason she is still in the papers is because the paparazzi is chasing her around to get pictures of her with her belly.

One of your complaints was that because she wasn't nominated she wouldn't come to the award show or PERFORM! The woman is darn near six months pregnant and you want her to perform on stage? That was my point.
And they were so earth-shatteringly good that I've never seen them before.

she hasn't really done anything. Do Somethin' wasn't that big and Someday JUST came out. we'll live. the VMAs are not that big of a deal.
