Very astute oberservation; couldn't agree more!

For a brief second this morning I thought, "Fuck, I don't speak any other languages nor do I have the basic means to relocate to another country". That thought was immediately followed by, "No, I'm not leaving. If Bush wins I will do everything in my power to volunteer my time and energy to fight his administration on everything I disagree with. If a lot of the intellectuals leave, who will be here to fight?". I'm definitely a fighter. I'm not just talking bullshit, I'm going to be VERY involved over the next four years.

Or Canada, Australia, or any other English speaking nation. I probably know enough french and german to get by, though I'm by no means fluent.
