Well it's hinted at that Jack is the face of boe. At the end of season three when he talks to the doctor about him being a fixed point in time and not being able to die the doctor told him he is still aging just very slowly and Jack is all like ugh what in the world will I look like in billions of years and that it's a matter of vanity but that he used to be a poster boy in the Boeshane peninsula and that when he joined the time agency he was called "The Face of Boe". The creators are of course being vague neither confirming nor denying but most indicators seem to point that Jack will eventually become the face of Boe.... And yes yes sorry for confusion Jack himself showed up during the creepy child episode and stayed until the end of the season 1 when rose revived him but the face of boe character showed up in episode 2 of season 1 :D
oh gosh, I never read so much into the foreseeing and hints O_O hahaha!! I didn't watch all of season 2 yet of doctor who, let alone season 3!!! I really should =O But yeah, some episodes are super creepy...like that child one you mentioned 'mommy? are you my mommy? mommmyyyyy' *shudders* it was so scary my sister made me turn off the sound because she was in the same room LOL!!!

I couldn't even finish Torchwood. The series ended for me with episode 3. I've convinced myself that Ianto is still alive, and they managed to get rid of the aliens without anyone dying. That's what I'm sticking with. ^_~
