I have a request of any magic users. If there is one among you capable of effecting dreams, I would much like to speak with you. My Emperor has a recurring nightmare that has led to his falling ill. It seemed prudent to study up on that area of magic while here, again.

Yes, the poor man has been plagued by it for nearly three months now, making sleep practically impossible for him... as it is, he's getting on in years and it's not good for his health and such.

[He opens the journal to Kefka's entry, and instead of responding or showing his face or writing anything, he just draws a giant Bio-Hazard sign across the front of the entry for everyone to see, complete with color.]

[And Kefka is going to magic the bio-hazard sign into a smiley face, complete with color.]

[Magic is such a useful thing. Like for cleaning up ink blots. The ink is just going to kind of gravitate out towards the edges so as not to obscure the rest of the page. Almost as if something was laying over top of the page. He anticipated this sort of behavior, James.]

I had hoped to learn something about dream magic in the hopes of helping my Emperor with his nightmare upon my return.

I am well aware of that. However, magic can affect dreams, correct? All I seek is the means to give my Emperor - to whom I owe my life and then some - a peaceful night's sleep.

He is not, thankfully. I realize that this very well may be an exercise in futility, that I may not remember what I've learned here should I return home, however, I simply cannot sit idly by when I have an opportunity to learn something that may be of benefit to His Majesty.
