Hi! I couldn't resist the invitation to come over and comment!
First and most importantly, I'm so sorry about your husband's uncle. That must have been very hard, and I hope everyone came through it as okay as they can be.
Your feelings truly come through in this fic, and I think that's why it strikes me as so potent and emotional. Usually, authors tend to overdo death in fanfiction, but this is a very lovely balance of sorrow and acceptance and hope. It's definitely not overdone, and very real, one of those fics where the reader can really empathize with the characters. I also think your characterization as wonderful, expecially how Wolfram dealt with the passing of his brother - his inner feelings coming out, but reluctantly and only when he felt "safe." (I love that line, BTW

Thanks - it was totally unexpected - he'd collapsed at a family wedding anniv. and they said it was quick and painless. It was just hard to deal with being as it was so sudden, and with his wife (MIL's sister) recovering from cancer, it was that much harder for her to deal with I think. I really respected him, which is why I felt compelled to write this story as a tribute to him. I also firmly believe we'll see him again someday, which is why I included that in the story (as well as I believe they feel the same in the KKM universe? Can't remember if that's canon or fanon tho

I'm with you on the grammar Nazi thing - I'm a teacher and my students are forever moaning about me sending their work back for revisions three times. But that's how they learn! ^_^ *mean Lena
