i love Chris' logic, that being said i have something to add. your hard work and your children are the only things you can leave as a legacy... you have to leave something behind, you know carve out your own little piece of the world. things may seam bleak now but (excuse the cliche) Greener pastures are always over the next horizon.it may seem terrible and like it's getting you no where now but look at the big picture, where you will and could end up and what you will be doing there. (a man who i once believed to be wise told me that) you could either be the big man in the office sitting behind the oak desk, or you could be the man who empty's his trash. keep your head held high so you can see your own little piece of heaven floating down.

why place yourself in a category of mediocrity when you know you are capable of being spectacular. of course the question "am i good enough" pops into your head every time you attempt the impossible, but you never know the result until you try. why not be that guy who asks girls out who look 10 times better then the girls he normally dates. why not try a new food for the first time, even though it smells and looks disgusting. obviously, one case is far different from the other, but they both have the same viewpoint on what you are trying to explain. you can never predict the future...that's just the way it goes. so why would you put your head down and let the most opportune moments pass you by...it shouldn't be on a feeling you have that you might fail. you know its amazing...these are the kinds of things we are worried about now (rejection and failure), when in a couple of years we are going to be worrying about jobs, wife's, and even rent money. its better to get some failures out of the way now because it is just inevitable that ( ... )
