stuff in cardboard boxes - yes, a pirate gave me gold booty. it turns out it rusted, so i guess the bastard duped poor ol' rossell.

i can't believe you know about phantom power. i'm sorry, but that's totally hot! i have no idea about signal chain, obviously you know a lot more than i do.

anyway, dunce me was able to figure out that output goes to line in.

and i would have no idea what phantom power was unless it was the call i made to my brother just today (prior to seeing this, believe it or not) where he said to definately turn it off because the mics he lent me don't have it.

hmmm, isn't there some saying about idle hands?

here's my deal, i think this perhaps is the attitude you and i might share, i would like to see lulls between times of high stress; however, that just does not occur in my work environment.

and this might be where our workplaces differ - what pisses me off most is my co-workers who sit around and don't accomplish a thing all day. i almost feel obligated, then, to take it upon myself to volunteer for the work which i know they won't want to do, won't volunteer for, and if they are forced to do it, bitch all freaking day about it and i have to sit there and listen to it all freaking day.

okay, thanks for the venting session. how much do you charge an hour?

The one thing about my job that i do like is that the people are nice, and they all actually do work. In fact, if you are swamped they usually offer to help out.
It's just when you have about 50 projects that take a week each all due tomorrow that it gets a bit stressful. Okay, that might be an exaggeration, but up until today when I found out one of the huge projects due next week had been moved back, it felt like it.

and you don't owe me anything for this venting session because i didn't read any of it. haha sucker!

and i was going to give you a carne asada....which you apparently don't feel the lust i feel towards one.

i can't believe you work with people who care. it makes me happy to know such work places exist.
