My dad convinced my mom to try to convince me to not go to spain... I need to think of something cunning.. quickly... to convince them.... They want me to wait a year before i go away............................... Anyone have any ideas?

have her write a letter
make a poster board of the benefits
and remember. use their own words against them. "a year of college"
well, that will give you a year of college, they never specified what country you had to be in!!!
tell them you may never get another opportunity,it will make or break your decision to continue spanish....
you have to go. don't let them tell you no! you are 18. get a loan...you work, you can pay it back!!!

tell them, you must separate yourself from your brother, and the best way to gain your individuality is to go to another country!...and look..spain is ready and waiting!
