I wouldn't bother to watch those later seasons AT ALL, tbqh. If anything I'd rather go back and watch the early seasons. I had actually forgotten how much I used to love N/T. It was fun to reminisce because man, The Carver? Are you kidding me? Brrrr! LOL.

OMG YOUR ICON!!11!! JAAAAAACK!

For all that I love Glee, there are a lot of logistical problems with it. I find that after PB, I'm not as bothered with certain types of inconsistencies, but Glee has them all over the place (character development, continuity, things happening just to advance the plot).

On the other hand, there is SO MUCH GREATNESS in the show, and the things that are brilliant about it are SO brilliant, that it's possible for me to overlook its flaws.

Perhaps that's what was going on in the early days with Nip/Tuck and then the brilliance left and only the flaws remained? This is of course my biggest fear with everything that I watch now--that it will break my heart like PB did. So I try to watch with less expectation and more of a love-it-for-what-it-is attitude. So far it's working. But you know, we've only got 22 eps under our belt at this point. It could become epically wonderful next season (all the kinks worked out like how S2 of Friends and That 70s Show were better because they all knew what they were doing by that point) or it could just ( ... )

It's all about you, bb *g*

I'm not doing LOST at all for this meme...it's just too recent, and I'd be repeating a lot of what you and other people have already said. So, no, it's not Lost.

(It's Prison Break. Don't tell anyone!)

One of the problems Nip/Tuck had was the dilemma of having main characters who were emotionally stunted. After six years of NO character development you just got sick of those guys...something "meaningful" would happen to them and then next week it was as if it had never happened. What's good is that doing this has reminded me about how good the show was at the beginning, and how much I enjoyed it. So, it's all good, as they say.

Yeah, Nip/Tuck I remember that it was appointment television for awhile, then it just got bad, and I mean really bad, so bad I was hoping for cancellation. I don't know what happened, maybe it was the whole Julia becoming a lesbian thing, maybe it was the post-op trans sexual honing in on the son... whatever, it started to suck, and I stopped watching.

I'm gonna guess X-Files.

If I had to pick a specific point where things turned rotten it would be when they moved the locale from Miami to LA. When Sean became a celebrity doctor, and it became very META and a statement on SHOW BIZ, and blah blah blah. Even though Sharon Gless was wonderful as the psycho agent, overall the show had nothing left to say. It should have been cancelled then.
