Life has been so busy lately that I've barely had time to go on the internet at all, let alone do any major updates! The days have consisted of six days a week of teaching, chocolate fondue, nabe parties, tickets for sumo and Duffy, ridiculously good books (The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz, please read it), insane amounts of ( Read more... )

I loved this post!!! so great. i miss reading about all your adventures. I've noticed that I also take lots of photos of food, especially if it's beautiful.

this picture is my favorite, it looks like a movie poster or a book cover

Thank you very much! I like that photo, too, it reminds me so much of living in Edinburgh and days in the shadow of the castle. I will have to do a food photo post soon!

Oh, and PS - do you normally teach 6 days a week? How does that schedule work out for you? I'm thinking of heading to Korea and trying to wrap my head around all the logistics, including teaching schedules....

(and i love the first photo. those look like well worn boots :)
