DILEMMA

Next semester I am taking a maths course Biological Modelling and Bioinformatics . This is a second year maths class (though the lecturer says it's the easiest the department offers), I have not done *ANY* first year maths, and will be required to revise calculus and actually learn linear algebra. However, this course will be extremely useful and ( Read more... )

EMSC2019 seems alright for an EMSC course (kinda wanna do it, but I need Bians/BIOLS for ma major)...and I seriously considered doing human genetics but switched it for primates :P

And of COURSE you have to do the one with our research project supervisor. If you don't do it, I will nevah forgive you >:|

I'll share my notes for that course. Clashes are easy to manipulate in the end!

PS. if you do EMSC2019, can you share the notes?

Actually, I think I may just ask if I can have access to the webCT without doing the actual course as extra reading. It'll mix well with my vertebrates course.

Selfishly I say do Plants: Genes To Environment 'caus I want Peri-filled goodness. *manic stare into middle distance*

From a less selfish perspective, I'd say drop Weather, Climate Fire and go with Marine Palaeontology and the Evolution of Life on Earth. I've heard mixed reports of WCF, some people loved it and others hated it, and I'd think you'd find the marine stuff more interesting... And seeing as you're all lined up to do so, stick with the maths?

Best of luck with whatever you choose :)

You seriously think I should do Palaeontology over Genetics? Hmmm. The thing about WCF is that it can actually be counted toward my majors...
