my friend got shingles in year 11... and dad when he was a little older than me...

how old are you supposed to be when you get them?

I know they can hit any time but it is more common with older people...

Yes, it is indeed the very same chicken pox I had as a child, hidden away in my nerves to strike when I least expect! Just like all herpes viruses (though not the same as genital/cold-sores) it is hideous recurrent thing
