Student Loans, Spike Lee and the Interpreter.

Last night I had a reality check when my dad called me to ask what type of loan payback plan I preferred. I have three loans: The Stafford, The Perkins, and The Citibank Loan. Totaling over $100,000. That's right folks. 100K that I do not have. I am going to be responsible for paying back both of the government funds (the lightweight loans) ( Read more... )

Gosh I didn't realise education in the US was that expensive.

I never took out any loans. In hindsight I had it pretty easy compared to other university students. My little sister on the other hand owes the government thousands, about £20,000 in total.

Student loans - ick.

I'll be over sixty (literally) before I pay mine off - you don't even want to know how much I owe! The rates are good, so it's not too bad.
