It is probably his woman's vehicle and she is reminding him that she has control of them. If it was a mans they would be made of brass.

It was definitely a man driving the truck. I am going to guess it is some sort of wishful thinking on his part. It was the fleshy veiny-ness of it that bothered me the most. LOL
