Welcome to my journal! Most of the content (the interesting stuff, anyway) is friends-only. If you don't comment, I won't know who you are

Hi! I haven't been very prolific in projects lately, but welcome! Mostly I talk about some important "projects", my two toddlers. :-) I looked a little at your Swedish site, and I'm very impressed. I'm sure I'd be more so if I could read Swedish.
To answer your first question, I can't remember if we were introduced last March at the event where Greta was elevated to the Order of the Pelican or not. Nonetheless, I am Greta's sister-in-law in mundane life, Teleri Talgellawg/Susan Reed. We have in common interests in the 15th century, clothing and textiles, and research methods. I greatly admire how you went about some of your research projects as presented on your web site.
I'm still a member of the SCA, but have been largely inactive for almost 10 years, but I still keep a toe in the waters :-). I'm still a resident of Barony of Ponte Alto, which I helped found. I'm both a Pearl and a Laurel and I am indeed female.
As for your last question, not really at this time...
I would be honored if you would add me to your friends list.
Here are the questions that you have for new friends.
I don't always recognize lj-usernames. Have we met? Do we have friends in common? Though we’ve met, we have never really spent any time together or even really talked. With the weird vibe in camp, I didn’t even get to talk to you when we camped together. Are you in the SCA (or interested)? 17 years now Are you in the DC Metro area? Are you in the SCA Kingdom of Atlantia? I live in Stafford VA. Are you a member of the Order of the Pearl? No, but I know a few. Are you a member of the Order of the Laurel? No, but I know a few of these too. Are you female? Yes, last time I checked. Would you be interested in NSFW (Not Safe For Work - read: smut) discussions? I’m a stay-at-home mom and wife; please include me in adult conversation.
Hi there, You are one of the folks in the SCA who’s path crosses mine and somehow we never really spend time getting to know each other. We have many mutual friends. Maybe we can sit and get to know each other some time.
I was out of camp so much that I didn't hang out very often. And, believe it or not, I'm actually kind of shy around people that I kind of know. Strange, eh? Luckily, being there such a short period, and not knowing the group well, I missed the weird vibe bit. :-D

Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you. I'm not very good at keeping up with things.
I hope to meet you again sometime. We may have met last March, but I was chasing around two kids at that event and don't really remember much. :-)
