More stays fitting stuff

So, after being somewhat unsatisfied with fitting over and existing pair of bodies, I decided to bite the bullet and do the cardboard stays fitting method. Amazing how sturdy they are. I think I might cover it all in duct tape and just wear it for fun.

As an aside, I was a very responsible girl and bought plain duct tape instead of the leopard

The look like they fit you pretty well. I do think it will lay better if you work out the lobes the way you want. The only other suggestion is that I'd extend the top of the bust like out a little further toward your arms. I don't know if you're adding straps or not, but some of the fashions are set very wide across the bust and those points will have your straps showing out from under your clothes. That may stem from someone else's comment that these patterns are made for smaller-busted women who don't need as much width from armseye to armseye.

Ah, it was you! I was wondering about that during this last fitting. They're the strapless stays, so does that change your opinion? I don't think I could move the points out much, since it would start to hit my arm when reaching forward. But maybe I'm overthinking it?
