Machine Sewing an Inset Gore

I promised more on hose, but I’m feeling a bit under the weather and I’ve lost my voice, so I’ve been kicking around on the computer all day and not sewing. Interesting. I've never seen that method before. I sew to the point and then with the needle down, use a small scissors to cut a notch and then turn and see down the other side.

Mistress Richenda wrote a similar article for TI in the early 1990s, but it was illustrated only with line drawings. I like your photos :-)
