Thanks for coming!bobquasitMarch 16 2004, 11:56:47 UTC
I'm so glad you had a good time at the party! In fact, I'm printing out this entry so that Teri can read it. I know she'll be really pleased, because she put a lot into the party.
It was really great seeing you and everyone - I really need to come up more often. And Sebastian was really glad to see Gwen the next day, too. :D
Sometimes she just means to graze the hand with her mouth or her teeth, sometimes she bites the hand/wrist but doesn't break the skin, but sometimes she breaks the skin too, and after that happens I am reluctant to leave the hand in her mouth in case she decides to try to do more damage. Is there a good way to deal with this?
She's a bad bitey-head! :-)
I will check some of the talk groups and see what people have suggested in dealing with a bitey head and/or a deaf cat. You will probably figure it out eventually through trial and error. It could be helpful to consult a vet familiar with animal behavior because they might be familiar with this habit, how to categorize it, and how to train Gwen out of it.
