Dream 002 ¦¦ ♥

[Filtered from Vincent (because that's pretty much Break's default now), and also Oz and Gilbert. Sorry guys, but he's not quite yet ready to give up his secrets. Other than that, it's public.]

“Whose echoes live in memories yet, though envious years would say ‘forget’…” )

FFFFFFT OH MY. I had to get this in before I went to to bed. Seriously. <3333 kyudousha October 16 2009, 05:27:41 UTC
[She... doesn't know what she's seeing right now, really. Or rather, she thinks she knows. It just seems so obvious. Thus, of course, she would make the obvious connections and subtract the intuitive ones.

Somehow, this scene is far too removed for her to scratch. She huffs. Tact what tact?]

Well, that says it all, I guess.

<333 I /did/ say it would be bittersweet... ;D charientisms October 16 2009, 05:36:44 UTC
[He makes a very, very quiet sound, something similar to a 'tsk', perhaps. It's very soft and probably near inaudible. This dream thing is such a bother.

However, Break smirks at her in his normal fashion and seems quite unaffected. He also decides that this is a good time to play up the 'clueless servant' role.]

Why, whatever do you mean, Rita dear?

[1/3] Yes. Yes you did. Now it's your fault I'm going to go to bed in tears. Oh Break. <3 kyudousha October 16 2009, 06:06:34 UTC
Don't call me that.

And what I mean, is that this just ended up being proof that you did know what you were talking about back then when we had that whole discussion on family and stuff like that.

And here I thought you just sprang out from the ground like a weed or something-

[... Wait.

That smirk.

There was something-

She does this double take. A quick mental comparison later, and... something strikes her as very, very strange. Odd, almost. Weird.

Two images laid out side by side, and it's something like a circle the differences exercise.]

... Is there something wrong with your face?

Fffffft, Rita. Just. xDDDD [1/2] charientisms October 16 2009, 06:20:26 UTC
[He blinks at her, but it isn't too difficult to figure out what she thinks. Of course; Rita often misses the subtle, Break's aware of that. Faced with his options, perhaps it is simply easier to not respond to--]

[That gets a blank look, and then an arched eyebrow.]

...'Something wrong with my face'? I'm afraid I don't know what you mean.

... Yeah, the more I look a it, it's just... well, weird. You sure it's not because someone socked you one for being too annoying, or something...?

Wait, but then you'd bruise.

[...The lack of a coherant explanation makes it difficult for Break to figure out what, exactly, Rita's talking about. 'Something wrong with his face'? But it was something that came only after his dream, which hadn't been anything out of the ordinary, except...

...Oh. Oh. That...might be a bit of a problem, if she figures out what's actually bothering her. He'd rather not get into a discussion about how he feels now compared to then, or anything ridiculous like that, so don't expect any help, Rita. <3]

I assure you, Rita dear, I have not gotten into any fights.

[And even if he did, it's not like he'd let someone punch him. Fft. Silly Rita.]

[It's not like we expected any in the first place, Break. :/ And she's putting more thought into this than she's been putting in all that, simply because, well, this is very relevant to her, and besides, not knowing something bugs her. So much. And while she's all but accepted the fact that the enigma known as Break would always be just that - a goddamn enigma, there were some things that she just wasn't willing to let go of just yet.

Such as this, for example. If anything, it's such a weird feeling, and not being able to put a finger on it really makes her want to punch something.]

Not that I can understand that. If you're like this with everyone, then you must have pissed off somebody irreversibly. I mean, I can't be the only one, right?

What's up with a sappy dream like that, anyway?

[He's going to be even less helpful than usual, promise. <3 The last thing he wants is to have to explain more about himself than necessary, really.

And ouch. Sappy? His only memories of the family he was so close to? :| Not that Break's hurt by that; he's long gotten over this, really. Promise. He doesn't miss them at all. Perish the thought.]

My, my~

Our dreams are merely that: dreams. I am afraid attempting to explain them at times is quite futile.

[This is not one of those times, but shhh.]

[Less than his usual helpful self? That's... pretty unhelpful. <3 And yeah, uh. What can I say? Her foot-in-mouth tendencies seem to even run here. :/ Oh Break stop making me cry so much, you. >(]

Well, I don't believe in arbitrary thinking. If you had that dream, there has to be a reason for it. Like, for example, that little girl called you 'Kevin', right?

Then wouldn't that just be your actual name?

charientisms October 17 2009, 04:18:50 UTC
[Indeed. Oh, Rita. He truly brushes it off, because knowing that she doesn't know about this means that it is quite illogical to be concerned about something like that. Sob, we can't help it. His life sucks. :/]

Hm~

And yet, in my other dream, Lady Sharon called me by my name. Is one dream more accurate than the other, Rita dear?

[Aww Break. You just... DDDD: And he was supposed to be the comic relief guy too /sob. I love this guy too much, seriously. And my inner Vincent is cutting things up right now, so. :|]

... Yeah, you'd have a point, if it weren't for the fact that the dreams in this place seem pretty damn accurate half the time. I mean, every one that I've called back on had been some kind of a past memory, or something. I can't just write of the possibility that it also applies to yours.

[^^; He's...okay-ish? ;_; He really was. But now...And ffft. Go cut up your stuffed animals, Vincent, we're manipulating Ada into helping that cat. And Break's not planning on giving her anything, so he simply tilts his head and smirks at her.]

Ah, but not all of them have been, from what I have seen. Therefore, it might be quite inaccurate to jump to conclusions about any one dream.

[Yes, yes he is. >( And Vincent is so pissed right now, you don't even know- Yeah, Break, he's taking his scissors to my neural pathways now. Good going. :|b]

I can't be jumping to conclusions if I'm keeping my options open, right? Either way, I can't write off the possibility that something like that's actually somehow. Not that I'm interested, or anything, but something like that may come in handy-

And besides, I don't see you denying the verity of that other dream you had, but you just managed to point it out on this one. If you ask me, that says something.
