Most people in my year at uni were straight A students in high school - after the initial shock of getting much lower grades, we were just happy to pass an exam later on. That doesn't mean we didn't work hard to get good grades (you actually had to work really hard for that C- sometimes), but there's only so much you can do when there are 3 really hard exams in one week, plus professors had different ways of grading - what one of them considered important, the other - not necessarily.

You really can't compare uni to high school, it's just different.

yeah, i accepted that fact in my first year when I realised getting A won't be as easy as before, so i was really content with B range for the past 2 years. But that drop to C was really a shock. :(

what you said is so true and comforting actually. I guess this is uni XD
