One of my teachers at school thinks that my symptoms indicate that I might have a metabolic disorder. I took a test last week that suggested that I have an under active thyroid. I am going to make an appointment tomorrow to get blood tests

Oh man. I just realized how much I sound like Woody Allen in that second paragraph. "I was so embarrassed .. my skin is very dry ..." I can just hear him saying it. Perhaps it's not my thyroid at all - I think I'm suffering from Woody Allen disease!
